Digital literacy is rapidly becoming the new literacy. Like it or not, technology has come to stay. Everything we do — from accessing healthcare, handling financial transactions, engaging with our community, and even accessing learning and job opportunities — requires some level of basic digital skills. Yet many lower-skilled adults who don’t have digital skills are being left behind.
What better place to talk about digital equity than at SXSW EDU where the EdTech world comes to celebrate the role of technology in learning and society? We have proposed three sessions this year and would love your votes so that we can lead this important conversation.
Digital US and EdTech Center have joined with our partners to present on some of the most pressing opportunities and equity issues facing our nation and the world: How do we ensure that adults with basic skills gaps build the digital skills they need to thrive in work and life?
See more below and cast your vote before Friday August 23rd!
