RESOURCES
This tool is designed to help practitioners and programs define the digital skills required for diverse learner types to help inform the design of their digital literacy programming. The checklists can be used for a variety of purposes, including: a) as a checklist for the teacher, the learner, or both to measure progress, b) to set digital skill goals for learners based on their aims for technology use, c) to identify a set of skills learners will demonstrate as they build a portfolio of digital work samples, and, d) to help practitioners create their own checklists. These checklists are based upon the BRIDGES Digital Skills Framework, which is adapted from the Digital skill sets for diverse users report from the University of Washington Technology and Social Change Group in partnership with the Seattle Digital Equity Initiative.
