Summer Maker Camp Series
Join the EdTech Center @ World Education on Thursday, September 9 from 4 – 5:30 PM Eastern for our final 2021 Summer Maker Camp series event, the Digital Skills Activity Design Slam! During this engaging 90-minute session you’ll work with colleagues from around the country to co-create digital skills activities….including activities that explicitly teach digital skills, as well as activity templates that can be integrated into any lesson while developing learners’ digital skills.

July Series – Vocabulary
- July 16 – Vocabulary Jam Session: During this session, campers worked together to generate a set of open vocabulary terms, as well as a list of tools and activity ideas that can be used to teach and practice digital skills vocabulary.
- July 30 – Visual Vocabulary Design Slam: Campers submitted a range of great digital skills vocabulary activities, leveraging tools such as Google Forms, Slides, and Jamboard; Quizlet; WordWall; and Flippity.
August Series – Authentic Assessment
- August 13 – Skills Checklists Jam Session: During this session, campers categorized the different tools they use and considered the various digital skills leaners need and develop when using these tools.
- POSTPONED – Coming up Thursday, September 9, 2021: During this session, campers will work together to generate new digital skills activities both via explicit digital skills instruction and edtech integration.
