TSTM-SkillBlox EdTech Maker Space: Design Slam!
We’re combining research + service-learning in the TSTM-SkillBlox EdTech Maker Space series! As part of the TSTM-SkillBlox Instructional Support Pilot, we’re working with makers to generate and organize free and open resources that will help adult educators implement the TSTM framework.
In the first project, we focused on curating learning activities for Civics, Health Literacy, Financial Literacy, and Workforce Preparation. In this second project, makers will participate in a Design Slam as they create original, reusable activities that integrate the nine skills that matter:
- adaptability & willingness to learn
- communication
- critical thinking
- interpersonal skills
- navigating systems
- problem solving
- processing & analyzing information
- respecting differences & diversity
- self-awareness
