Assistant Director of the EdTech Center
Victoria is the Assistant Director of the EdTech Center and supports global edtech partnerships, e/mLearning projects and innovative engagements in North America, Africa and Asia. Victoria joins the EdTech Center from World Education’s Asia & Special Projects division, where she developed and managed ICT4D and educational technology initiatives, from using mobile technology to optimize data collection for early grade literacy assessments under the TEST project to advising the Cambodian government and UNESCO to design and pilot the first online equivalency program for out of school youth using Moodle LMS under the Basic Education Equivalency Project (BEEP).
Victoria has worked in the international development sector since 2009, when she started her career as a Peace Corps Education Volunteer at a Medical College in southwestern China. Prior to World Education, she was the Education Manager at an NGO in Cambodia where she managed adult and youth learning initiatives, including a vocational training center that served over 1,000 learners each semester. Victoria also worked at an international education start-up where she designed and led leadership programs for youth, students and educators from around the world.
Victoria holds an MA in International Development from the University of Denver Korbel School of International Studies and a BA in Global Studies and Writing. In her free time, she serves as an innovation mentor and edtech advisor for start-ups in the Boston area and exploring new places.
