This webinar shares case studies from piloting Cell-Ed to explore how mobile learning provides a pathway to literacy, language, and job skills as well career ladder promotions for adult learners who cannot attend class and extend and differentiate learning for those in classes. Presenters will share how Cell-Ed’s model of micro-learning on any device, simple or smart, provides anytime, anywhere learning opportunities for busy adults, even when they don’t have internet access. The webinar will focus on key findings from field tests conducted in two workplace learning contexts: 1) blended learning ESL class for hotel workers in Boston and 2) 100% distance learning by home health aides in Miami and other cities in partnership with the National Domestic Workers Alliance and SEIU.
