By using family-motivated assignments and elements of digital literacy in the ESL classroom, teachers can empower adult English learners to succeed in the workforce and at home. This Lighting Talk explores mini-projects that can help connect learners to their families and communities in a digital way. With a focus on learners who need foundational digital literacy skills, project materials can be adapted for and used in various adult English classes.
