Math Beyond Workbooks

Close to 100



  1. Shuffle the cards and deal out six to each player.


  2. Players choose four of their cards and form two 2-digit numbers with them that have a sum as close to 100 as possible.


  3. The players score is the difference between their sum and 100 (so if you get a sum of 91, your score would be 100 ‚ 92 = 9).


  4. Play seven hands ‚ the lowest score wins.
