SHORT-TERM TRAINING FOR CAREERS
Focus on People Speaking English as their Second Language

Do you want to acquire skills for a job?

Are you looking to retrain for a different type of job?

Do you need to improve your English language skills to find work?

Many careers and pre-employment programs require only short training periods, from two
months to a year, to prepare you for work. If you are anxious to enter the job market quickly,
this may be a good choice for you.

Select one of the links in the column to the left to read about how some adult students
attended short-term training programs to prepare for work.
