Funded by the California Workforce Development Board, MOBILE UP! is a collaboration between industry sector training programs piloting how mobile phones can be used to provide anytime, anywhere English instruction, Career Education & Coaching to low-wage immigrant service workers. MOBILE UP! is developing a new, scalable model for accelerating the training and career advancement of janitors, long-term care workers and hotel workers who are unable to attend in-person trainings. World Education is providing technical assistance on best practices for providing instruction and coaching by mobile phones- both simple and smart.Learn more at the MOBILE UP! project website.
